MINEOLA, N.Y. – Nassau County District Attorney Anne T. Donnelly announced that a Brooklyn-based rapper was arraigned today on weapon possession, assault, and other charges stemming from a July 2022 shooting that injured three people at a private pool party at the Mansion at Glen Cove.

Remy Marshall, a/k/a Fetty Luciano, 27, who resides in Queens County, was arraigned today before Judge Howard Sturim on charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (a C violent felony); three counts of Assault in the Second Degree (a D violent felony); Attempted Assault in the Second Degree (an E felony); three counts of Assault in the Third Degree (an A misdemeanor); and Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree (an A misdemeanor). The defendant pleaded not guilty, and bail was continued at $200,000 cash, $400,000 bond or $2 million partially secured bond at 10%. The defendant is due back in court on March 31 and, if convicted of the top charge, faces a potential maximum of 15 years in prison.

“This defendant allegedly brought a loaded gun into a crowded private event and, during an altercation, discharged the weapon and struck three victims,” said DA Donnelly. “Thankfully, the defendant’s alleged reckless actions did not cause life-threatening injuries to the victims and no one else was hurt. I thank the Glen Cove Police Department for their work apprehending this defendant leading to today’s indictment.”

DA Donnelly said that on July 10, 2022, at approximately 5:34 p.m., at the Mansion at Glen Cove, the defendant allegedly got into a verbal argument with someone attending a private pool party. Marshall allegedly left the lobby of the mansion, and seconds later, reentered and approached the same partygoer. The defendant then allegedly tried to “pistol whip” the individual in the head with a firearm and the weapon discharged, striking three victims with a single bullet.

One victim suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The other victims were struck in the leg and elbow. Each was treated at the hospital and released.

The defendant was arrested on July 21, 2022, in Glen Cove by members of the Glen Cove Police Department.

Marshall, known professionally as Fetty Luciano, is a Brooklyn-based rapper and is allegedly a member of the GS9 group.

The case is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Michael Greubel of the Narcotics, Firearms and Gangs Bureau. The defendant is represented by Javier Alberto Solano, Esq.

The charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless found guilty.
