IN AN EMERGENCY, ALWAYS CALL 911.
THE NASSAU COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT UNIT ACCEPTS CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS ELECTRONICALLY AND BY MAIL. ONCE YOUR COMPLAINT IS RECEIVED, A MEMBER OF OUR INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION STAFF WILL CONTACT YOU TO CONDUCT AN INTERVIEW. IN MOST CASES, WE CAN CONDUCT THE INITIAL ASSESSMENT OF YOUR COMPLAINT OVER THE PHONE WITHOUT REQUIRING YOU TO APPEAR AT OUR OFFICE.

TO REQUEST A COMPLAINT FORM THAT CAN BE FILED BY MAIL, PLEASE CALL 516-571-3505. A MEMBER OF OUR STAFF WILL TAKE YOUR INFORMATION SO THAT A FORM CAN BE MAILED TO YOU. IF IT IS OUTSIDE BUSINESS HOURS, PLEASE LEAVE A VOICEMAIL MESSAGE WITH YOUR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION.
